Is the Rajasthan LDC syllabus 2026 the same as previous years?

Largely yes. The official RSSB syllabus for Advt. 04/2026 retains the same five-subject structure (GK, Science, Maths in Paper I; Hindi, English in Paper II) that has been in place since 2018. The only meaningful change is the 5-option OMR format with E meaning 'not attempted'.

Which subject carries the highest weightage in Rajasthan LDC?

General Knowledge with a Rajasthan focus carries the highest weightage — roughly 35% of total marks based on past papers. Rajasthan history, geography and culture together account for around 25%.

Is the Rajasthan LDC syllabus available in Hindi?

Is computer knowledge part of the Rajasthan LDC syllabus?

Computer knowledge is not tested in the written exam, but a computer qualification (RSCIT, NIELIT 'O' level, COPA, or 12th with Computer Science) is a hard eligibility requirement. The Phase II typing test assumes basic computer literacy.

How long does it take to complete the Rajasthan LDC syllabus?

Most aspirants who score 130+ on Phase I spend 4-6 months covering the full syllabus, then 1-2 months on revision and mocks. Plan for 600-800 study hours from scratch.

Is the typing test syllabus separate from the written exam?

Yes. Phase II is purely a typing speed and accuracy test in Hindi and English on a computer. Target 20 WPM Hindi and 25 WPM English with 95% or higher accuracy.
