Nita Ambani Tops Fortune India's Most Powerful Women 2026 List

Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, was ranked No. 1 on the Fortune India Most Powerful Women (MPW) 2026 list, unveiled at a ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel, Mumbai. The annual list recognises 100 women shaping India's economic and business landscape across business, finance, technology, healthcare and public policy. Accepting the honour, she called for a broader definition of leadership rooted in compassion, inclusion and opportunity, stressing that investing in girls is fundamental to India's future. The Fortune India MPW list features 100 of India's most influential women leaders.
