IBPS invited online applications for the Common Recruitment Process CRP PO/MT-XVI to recruit Probationary Officers / Management Trainees in 11 participating public sector banks. Registration and fee payment ran from 1 July to 21 July 2026 (extended to 26 July), followed by a two-day edit window on 29–30 July. The application window is now closed. The Preliminary Examination is scheduled for 22 and 23 August 2026, with the Main Examination on 4 October 2026.

How to apply
Register on the IBPS portal
Visit www.ibps.in, open 'CRP PO/MT' and click 'Click here for New Registration'. Enter basic details; a provisional registration number and password are generated and sent by email/SMS.
Fill the application form
Complete personal, category and qualification details and indicate your order of bank preferences (in-built in the form). Opt for Pre-Examination Training (SC/ST/OBC/Minority) if desired. DigiLocker integration is available on a voluntary basis.
Upload documents
Upload photograph (200×230 px, 20–50 KB), signature (140×60 px, 10–20 KB), left thumb impression (240×240 px, 20–50 KB), a hand-written declaration in English (800×400 px, 50–100 KB) and your SSC/10th certificate (PDF, ≤500 KB). A live photograph is also captured during registration.
Pay the fee online
Pay ₹850 (Gen/OBC/EWS) or ₹175 (SC/ST/PwBD) via debit/credit card, internet banking, IMPS, wallet or UPI. Fee is non-refundable.
Submit and save the printout
Complete registration, verify every field (Name, Email, Mobile, State, Post and Nationality cannot be edited later), submit, and take a printout of the e-receipt and application form.

Candidates are allotted to one bank on a merit-cum-preference basis.
