Overview
About RSSB LDC
The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSSB) — formerly RSMSSB — has released RSSB Advt. 04/2026 to fill 10,644 Lipik Grade-II / Junior Assistant (Kanishth Sahayak) vacancies across Rajasthan. The post offers a permanent Group C state government job at Pay Matrix Level 5 with state-wide postings.
Selection happens in three stages: a qualifying CET (Senior Secondary level) 2024 score, a two-paper written examination — held on 5 July 2026 (Paper I 09:30–12:30, Paper II 15:00–18:00) — and a Hindi & English typing test. Candidates need at least 40% in each Phase I paper to advance to the typing stage, which itself requires 36% in each paper (5% relaxation for SC/ST at both phases). The written exam was conducted in offline OMR mode with 5-option marking and 1/3 negative marking.
RSSB LDC is one of Rajasthan's most-applied government clerical exams — typical year-on-year applicant counts run between 12 and 25 lakh candidates competing for the available vacancies. With strong Rajasthan GK weightage in Paper I and detailed Hindi grammar in Paper II, focused preparation on regional content is the difference between qualifying and missing the cutoff.
- Permanent state government job — Group C, Pay Matrix Level 5 (₹20,800–₹65,900)
- 10,644 vacancies in a single notification — one of Rajasthan's largest clerical recruitments of 2026
- State-wide postings across all 33 Rajasthan districts
- Bilingual exam — Hindi and English both supported, no language disadvantage
- Direct entry through 12th Pass + CET (Senior Secondary) 2024 — no graduation required

Two phases. Phase I was an OMR-based written exam with two papers — Paper I (General Knowledge, Mathematics, Everyday Science) and Paper II (General Hindi, General English). What are the qualifying marks for RSSB LDC?
A candidate must score a minimum of 40% in each Phase I paper (Paper I and Paper II separately), and a minimum of 36% in each Phase II typing paper. SC and ST candidates get a 5% relaxation in each paper of each phase. Both papers must be cleared individually — clearing on aggregate alone is not enough.
