Strategy
How to prepare
- 1Master Rajasthan GK first — it carries the highest weightage in Paper I and is the single biggest differentiator. Use PYQs to identify high-frequency topics.
- 2For Math, focus on speed over depth — most questions test concepts up to 10th class but require quick calculation. Practice mental math daily.
- 3Hindi grammar — focus on संधि, समास, and मुहावरे. These appear in every paper and are easy marks if memorized properly.
- 4English — work on grammar fundamentals (tenses, articles, prepositions) and synonym-antonym vocabulary. Reading comprehension is the highest-mark single category.
- 5Solve at least 5 full-length mock tests in the final month. Time management on a 150-question 3-hour paper is critical.

Answers
Frequently asked questions
What was the exam pattern for RSSB LDC 2026?
Two phases. Phase I was an OMR-based written exam with two papers — Paper I (General Knowledge, Mathematics, Everyday Science) and Paper II (General Hindi, General English). Each paper had 150 questions for 100 marks in 180 minutes, giving a Phase I total of 200 marks. Phase II is a computer-based typing test in Hindi and English.
How is RSSB LDC marked, and is there negative marking?
Each paper has 150 questions for 100 marks with 1/3 negative marking — a wrong answer costs one third of that question's marks. The OMR sheet uses five options (A, B, C, D, E), where E means 'Not Attempted' and carries no penalty. Always darken Option E on any question you decide to skip.
