Frequently asked questions
What was the RSSB LDC 2026 exam date?
The RSSB LDC written examination was held on 5 July 2026 in offline OMR mode — Paper I from 09:30 to 12:30 and Paper II from 15:00 to 18:00 on the same day, each lasting 3 hours. (The advertisement originally proposed 5 and 6 July; the board's admit-card notice fixed it as 5 July only.)
What is the 5-option OMR rule in RSSB LDC?
Every OMR question carries five circles — A, B, C, D and E — and Option E stands for 'Not Attempted'. Exactly one circle must be darkened on every question. Candidates were given 10 extra minutes beyond the scheduled exam time solely to darken Option E on unanswered questions. Leaving more than 10% of the questions with no circle darkened at all leads to disqualification.
When was the RSSB LDC 2026 admit card released?
Exam district and city information was made available from 26 June 2026, and the e-admit card was downloadable from 1 July 2026 through SSO login, ahead of the exam on 5 July 2026. RSSB does not post admit cards — downloading it from the portal was the only route.
Can I download the RSSB LDC admit card without an SSO ID?
No. Downloading the admit card requires a Rajasthan SSO ID — specifically the same SSO ID used to submit the application. If you cannot recall which SSO ID you used, log in to the SSO portal with each of your IDs and check the application status under 'My Recruitments'.
What should I do if my admit card has incorrect details?
Take a screenshot of the incorrect details straight away and email RSSB at recruitmenthelpdesk@rajasthan.gov.in or pg.rssb@rajasthan.gov.in. Do not wait until exam day — RSSB typically issues a corrected admit card within 24 to 48 hours.
