A Revenue Patwari is appointed in Level-2 of the 7th CPC pay matrix with an initial pay of ₹19,900 (scale ₹19,900 – ₹63,200), as stated in Advt 02/2023. During the training period only a stipend is paid.

Job Profile & Responsibilities
As a PSSSB Patwari, your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- 1Maintaining the land records of a Patwar circle — jamabandi, khasra girdawari and mutation entries
- 2Field verification of crops, land measurement and demarcation, and recording ownership changes
- 3Revenue collection and recovery assistance, and reports for the Tehsildar during floods, calamities and elections
- 4Issuing record copies and supporting Fard and other citizen services through the digitised land-record system
