Eligibility below is as prescribed in Advt 02/2023 under the Punjab Revenue Patwari service rules and the Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Service) Rules. The age as-of date will be reset by the new advertisement.

Qualification
Educational qualification
- Bachelor's degree from a recognised university
- At least a 120-hour course with working experience in personal computers / IT in office productivity or desktop publishing applications from a recognised or ISO 9001 institution, OR 120 hours' working experience in computer applications, OR a NIELIT (DOEACC) 'O' Level certificate
- Matriculation with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject, or an equivalent Punjabi examination specified by the Punjab Government
- All qualifications must be complete on the last date of receipt of applications

Citizen of India.
Domicile
Reservation and age relaxation for SC, BC, EWS, ex-servicemen, sports and other categories are available only to bona-fide residents of Punjab with a certificate from the competent authority.

What is the eligibility for Punjab Patwari?
A bachelor's degree, a 120-hour computer course (or NIELIT/DOEACC 'O' Level, or 120 hours' working experience in computer applications) and Punjabi as a subject at Matriculation. Age 18 to 37 years, with relaxations for SC/BC, PwD, ex-servicemen and certain categories of women.
Is the 120-hour computer course compulsory for Patwari?
Yes. Advt 02/2023 requires at least a 120-hour computer course with working experience from a recognised or ISO 9001 institution, or 120 hours' working experience in computer applications, or the DOEACC/NIELIT 'O' Level certificate, complete by the last date of application.
