Educational qualification
- Passed 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognised board/university
- Must have passed Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject at Matriculation (10th) level, or an equivalent Punjabi qualification

Reservation benefits apply only to bona-fide residents of Punjab as per Punjab Government rules.
