What is the exam pattern for PSSSB Jail Warder?
It is an offline MCQ exam with two parts: Part-A is a qualifying Punjabi language paper (10th level, 50% required) and Part-B is the merit paper covering GK & Current Affairs, Punjab History & Culture, Reasoning, Punjabi, English and ICT. Each question is 1 mark with 0.25 negative marking.
Is Punjabi compulsory for PSSSB Jail Warder?
Yes. Candidates must have passed Punjabi at Matriculation (10th) level, and Part-A of the written exam is a qualifying Punjabi language paper requiring at least 50%. Part-A marks are not counted towards merit.
