To apply for SBI PO 2026 a candidate must be an Indian citizen, hold a graduate degree in any discipline and meet the age criteria as on 01.04.2026. Age relaxations apply to reserved categories, PwBD and ex-servicemen.

Qualification
Educational qualification
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
- Final-year / final-semester candidates may apply provisionally, subject to producing proof of passing on or before 30.09.2026.
- Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) holders must have passed on or before 30.09.2026.
- Professional qualifications (Medical, Engineering, CA, Cost Accountant, etc.) are also eligible.
Nationality
The candidate must be a citizen of India (or otherwise eligible per Government of India rules).
