2nd BRICS Tourism Working Group Meeting Held in Jaipur Under India's Chairship

The 2nd BRICS 2026 Tourism Working Group Meeting was held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on 19 August 2026 under India's BRICS Chairship, hosted by the Ministry of Tourism and chaired by Tourism Secretary Bhuvnesh Kumar, discussing India's theme *'Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability'* across four priority areas including AI in tourism and responsible tourism. It followed the 1st (virtual) meeting on 25 May 2026 and feeds into the BRICS Tourism Ministers' Meeting on 21 August; delegates also visited Jaipur's UNESCO-listed Hawa Mahal, City Palace and Amber Palace.
