Amit Shah Flags Off 'Har Ghar Tiranga Yatra' in Puducherry
Union Home Minister Amit Shah flagged off the 'Har Ghar Tiranga Yatra' campaign at Murugaa Theatre Signal, Puducherry, during a two-day visit to the Union Territory. The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign was launched by PM Modi in 2022 under the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. This year, the special focus is on commemorating 150 years of 'Vande Mataram'. During the visit, Shah presented the prestigious President's Colours to the Puducherry Police at the Police Training School ground, Gorimedu. The Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 movement (Ministry of Culture) runs 9-17 August 2026.
