The Paralympic Committee of India (PCI), headed by Devendra Jhajharia, named para-badminton champion Pramod Bhagat and para table-tennis player Bhavina Patel as India's flag bearers for the opening ceremony of the 5th Asian Para Games at Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, on 18 October 2026. The Games run from 18 to 24 October 2026. The contingent was sent off from New Delhi on 8 October.
