BRICS Tourism Ministers Adopt Jaipur Declaration Under India's 2026 Chairship

BRICS Tourism Ministers adopted the BRICS Tourism Ministers' Communiqué 2026, also called the Jaipur Declaration, by consensus at Jaipur, Rajasthan, on 21 August 2026, chaired by Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat under India's 2026 BRICS Chairship. Nine member states took part, including Brazil, Iran, South Africa and the UAE. The declaration set four priorities: AI and tourism, sustainability and responsible tourism, tourism skilling and capacity building, and seamless travel facilitation. It followed the 2nd BRICS Tourism Working Group meeting held in Jaipur on 19–20 August 2026, the preparatory stage already tracked in this digest.

Bank of Canada Unveils CAD 20 Note Featuring King Charles III
