China Southern Airlines to Resume Guangzhou-Delhi Flights from 21 September
China Southern Airlines will restart regular passenger services between Guangzhou and New Delhi from 21 September 2026, returning to the Indian market after a long suspension of direct India-China air links. The resumption is part of the steady normalisation of India-China ties that followed the easing of the eastern Ladakh standoff, and it lands in the same week as Xi Jinping's New Delhi visit for the 18th BRICS Summit, where he and PM Modi agreed to expand trade and investment. Restored direct connectivity is expected to ease business travel, student mobility and air-cargo movement between the two economies.
