Karan Yadav Appointed the Indian Super League's First-Ever Chief Executive Officer
The Indian Super League (ISL) has appointed Karan Yadav as its first-ever Chief Executive Officer, effective 21 September 2026, under a new club-led governance structure for the competition. The post was created to give the league a dedicated executive head as clubs take a larger role in running the ISL, following a period of uncertainty over its operating model. The appointment comes as Indian football expands its competition calendar — the AIFF is launching India's first U15 Women's Youth League at Belagavi on 15 October 2026. The ISL, recognised by the AIFF, is India's top-tier men's football league.
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) was founded in 1937; HQ New Delhi | The Indian Super League began in 2014 | FIFA was founded in 1904 and is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland
