PNB and Indian Army Sign MoU for 'LUXURA Metal' and 'Parakram' Credit Cards
Punjab National Bank (PNB), India's second-largest public sector bank, signed an MoU with the Indian Army in New Delhi to issue two co-branded credit cards - the 'PNB LUXURA Metal Credit Card' for Army officers and the 'PNB Parakram Credit Card' for Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and other ranks. Benefits include 3% cashback at Canteen Stores Department (CSD) outlets, complimentary domestic and international airport lounge access and zero forex mark-up. The Parakram card is made from biodegradable material. It was signed by Major General VK Purohit and PNB General Manager (Credit Cards) Deepak Kumar, extending the defence salary-package tie-ups banks are competing for across the services.
