A new species of freshwater catfish, Pseudolaguvia khairii, was discovered in the Budhabalanga river in Mayurbhanj district, Odisha, and described in the international taxonomic journal Zootaxa. Pseudolaguvia is a genus of hillstream/torrent catfish of the family Sisoridae.
