'Peacko' Unveiled as Official Mascot for BWF World Championships 2026

On 18 July 2026, Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports Mansukh Mandaviya, along with Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, President of the Badminton Association of India (BAI) and Chief Minister of Assam, unveiled the official mascot 'Peacko' and launched the championship anthem for the BWF World Championships 2026 in New Delhi. Mascot: 'Peacko' is inspired by the Indian Peafowl, India's national bird.
