EIMF Trims India's FY27 GDP Growth Forecast to 6.4% in July 2026 WEO Update; FY28 Raised to 6.7%The International Monetary Fund (IMF), in its July 2026 World Economic Outlook (WEO) Update, lowered India's real GDP growth forecast for FY2026-27 to 6.4%, down from the 6.5% projected in April 2026, citing elevated global energy prices and trade uncertainty.
