TCS to Acquire Porsche's IT Consulting Arm MHP for EUR 320 Million
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced in August 2026 the acquisition of MHP Management- und IT-Beratung GmbH, the management and IT consulting subsidiary of Germany's Porsche AG, at an enterprise value of EUR 320 million (about Rs 3,575 crore). TCS will pick up a 100% stake within three to four months, deepening its presence across Germany, Romania, the UK, the USA and Mexico. The deal sits inside a wider five-year strategic partnership worth EUR 1.25 billion covering AI, digital transformation and software-defined mobility, and includes an AI Mobility Centre of Excellence for Porsche AG. Closure requires EU merger-control, EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation, Romanian FDI and German regulatory clearances.
