BHASHINI Shilpi Developer Session Held at the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu
The Digital India BHASHINI Division organised the BHASHINI Shilpi developer session at the Embassy of India in Kathmandu, Nepal on 31 August 2026, under the Digital India Corporation and MeitY. Local developers, students and innovators were introduced to BHASHINI's translation, speech-recognition and speech-synthesis APIs through the tracks 'Develop', 'Solve', 'Scale' and 'Innovate with BHASHINI'. CEO Amitabh Nag addressed the session. In parallel, the Division hosted the international BHASHINI SANGAM Workshop at the Embassy auditorium and signed a foundational MoU with Kathmandu University's Centre for Digital Public Infrastructure and AI. It follows the BHASHINI Rajyam Workshop: Sikkim Chapter held at Gangtok on 19 August 2026.
