Ahmedabad to Host 2nd Commonwealth Cue Sports Championships in October 2026
Ishaun Singh, President of the World Pool Association (WPA), announced that Ahmedabad, Gujarat will host the second Commonwealth Cue Sports Championships from 7–10 October 2026 at the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex. Athletes from 45 countries will compete in five disciplines — 10-Ball, Heyball, Blackball, Snooker and English Billiards — across 10 medal events for men and women. The event runs under the Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI) and the World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS), managed by Apex Sports Promotion. The inaugural edition was held in Mauritius in 2025; the award strengthens Ahmedabad's profile ahead of the 2030 Commonwealth Games it will host.
