Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Completes 10 Years
The Government e-Marketplace (GeM) celebrated its 10th foundation day at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, where Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal honoured top buyers from central and state departments and leading sellers for strengthening the public procurement ecosystem. He called for a more user-friendly, AI-enabled GeM. Key launches included a nationwide five-digit helpdesk short code, 14550, and a commemorative 'My Stamp', along with a film on GeM's 10-year journey.
