India attends inaugural UN Global Dialogue on AI Governance in Geneva

MoS Kirti Vardhan Singh led India's delegation at the inaugural UN Global Dialogue on AI Governance in Geneva (6–7 July 2026), reaffirming India's 'AI for All' vision. The Dialogue was established under UNGA Resolution 79/325 (following the Global Digital Compact, September 2024), co-chaired by Rwandan President Paul Kagame and Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, with ITU chief Doreen Bogdan-Martin as Vice-Chair; it received the first report of the Independent International Scientific Panel on AI.
