The 23rd Commonwealth Games (Glasgow 2026) were held from 23 July to 2 August 2026. India finished 4th in the medal tally with 39 medals — 13 gold, 17 silver and 9 bronze. Glasgow hosted a leaner, cost-controlled edition of the Games. Among Indian highlights, Anahat Singh''s historic run at the World Junior Squash Championships was noted as India''s best-ever result in that event.
